Baked Apples
CACFP: ¼ cup (or ½ whole apple) = ½ fruit/vegetable
*Double batch for Group Family providers


Ingredients 6 servings
Margarine 1½ Tablespoons
Fresh Apples, small 3
Sugar ¼ cup
Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Water ¼ cup



  • 1. Use pan with 1" sides. Grease pan with margarine.
  • 2. Wash and slice apples ¼" thick, removing core and seeds.
  • 3. Put apples and water in pan.
  • 4. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  • 5. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
