Bueno Bean Soup
CACFP: ¾ cup = ½ meat; ½ fruit/vegetable


Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Stewed Tomatoes 1-14½ ounce can 3½-14½ ounce cans
Chicken Broth 1½ cups 5 cups
Chicken Bouillon, cube or granules 1 cube 3 cubes
Refried Beans 16 ounce can 3½-16 ounce cans



  • 1. Puree stewed tomatoes in blender or food processor.
  • 2. Combine tomatoes, broth, and chicken bouillon in pan.
  • 3. Simmer until bouillon is dissolved.
  • 4. Add refried beans.
  • 5. Stir well and heat through.
