Carrot Sticks

CACFP: 1/4 cup = 1/2 fruit/vegetable
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • Carrots - 1 1/2 cups

    Directions:

  • 1. Cut carrots into 1/4 inch strips.
  • 2. Steam and chill the strips. (This will reduce the chance that the children will choke on them.

    Note: Put a low-fat dressing on the children's plates so they can "dip" their vegetables.
