Cinnamon Toast
CACFP: 1 serving = 1 bread


Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Margarine, softened 3 teaspoons 10 teaspoons
Bread, whole-grain, thin-sliced 6 slices 20 slices
Cinnamon 1½ teaspoons 5 teaspoons
Sugar 1 Tablespoon 3 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon



  • 1. Spread ½ teaspoon margarine on one side of bread and place on pan, plain side down.
  • 2. Combine cinnamon and sugar and stir until well blended.
  • 3. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture onto bread with a shaker.
  • 4. Place bread under broiler for 1 minute or until brown. Watch carefully - cinnamon toast burns quickly.
