Egg Puff
CACFP: 1 egg puff =½ meat
*Double batch for Group Family programs


Ingredients 6 servings
Eggs, medium 2
Biscuit Mix, enriched ¼ cup
Cheddar Cheese 2 ounces
Milk 5 ounces
Dry Mustard ¼ teaspoon
Cooking Spray  



  • 1. Grease muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • 2. Grate cheese.
  • 3. Mix all ingredients with hand mixer.
  • 4. Pour ¼ cup of mixture into each container.
  • 5. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Centers should be firm.
  • 6. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

    Note: Egg puff can be served on a toasted junior size hamburger bun. English muffin or biscuit to resemble a fast food-type egg sandwich. You could substitute the bun, muffin, or biscuit for the toast in this menu.
