Finger Gelatin

CACFP: 1 serving = 1/2 fruit/vegetable
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 100% Grape Fruit Juice - 12 ounces
  • Gelatin - 2 Tablespoons

    Directions:

  • 1. Dissolve gelatin in juice and boil, stirring occasionally.
  • 2. Pour gelatin into flat pan.
  • 3. Refrigerate overnight.
  • 4. Cut into 6 equal portions and serve.

    Note: This is the only way gelatin can be a reimbursable food on the CACFP. Jello brands gelatin is not reimbursable even when made with fruit juice.
