Hamburgers on a Roll

CACFP: 1 hamburger = 1 meat, 1 bread
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • Bread crumbs - 1/3 cup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Eggs, medium - 1
  • Spice Mix - 1 teaspoon
  • Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Beef - 12 ounces
  • Hamburger Rolls, whole-grain - 6

    Directions:

  • 1. Combine first five ingredients and blend with mixer.
  • 2. Add meat and stir. (Do not use hands.)
  • 3. Scoop with 1/4 cup measuring scoop and shape into patties. Be sure to wear plastic gloves.
  • 4. Place on flat pans. Bake 20-30 minutes at 400 degres or until brown.
  • 5. Put patties on buns. Stack in deep pan and cover with foil to keep warm until ready to serve.
