Hamburgers on a Roll
CACFP: 1 hamburger = 1 meat; 1 bread


Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Bread Crumbs ⅓ cup ¾ cup
Water ¼ cup 1 cup
Eggs, medium 1 1
Spice Mix 1 teaspoon 1 Tablespoon
Worcestershire Sauce 1 teaspoon 1 Tablespoon
Ground Beef 12 ounces 2 pounds 10 ounces
Hamburger Rolls, whole-grain 6 20



  • 1. Combine first five ingredients and blend with mixer.
  • 2. Add meat and stir. (Do not use hands.)
  • 3. Scoop with ¼ cup measuring cup and shape into patties. Be sure to wear plastic gloves.
  • 4. Place on flat pans. Bake 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown.
  • 5. Put patties on buns. Stack in deep pan and cover with foil to keep warm until ready to serve.
