Hamburgers on a Roll
CACFP: 1 hamburger = 1 meat, 1 bread
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
Bread crumbs - 1/3 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Eggs, medium - 1
Spice Mix - 1 teaspoon
Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Ground Beef - 12 ounces
Hamburger Rolls, whole-grain - 6
Directions:
1. Combine first five ingredients and blend with mixer.
2. Add meat and stir. (Do not use hands.)
3. Scoop with 1/4 cup measuring scoop and shape into patties. Be sure to wear plastic gloves.
4. Place on flat pans. Bake 20-30 minutes at 400 degres or until brown.
5. Put patties on buns. Stack in deep pan and cover with foil to keep warm until ready to serve.
