Meatloaf
CACFP: 1 serving = 1 meat


Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Ground Beef 13 ounces 3 pounds
Tomato Sauce ½ cup 1½ cups
Oats ⅓ cup 1 cup
Eggs, medium, beaten 1 3
Onion, chopped 1 Tablespoon ½ onion
Spice Mix ½ teaspoon 2 teaspoons
Salt ½ teaspoon 2 teaspoons



  • 1. Mix all ingredients together.
  • 2. Using wet hands, press meat mixture evenly into loaf pan(s).
  • 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • 4. Cut into portions equal to number of children to be served.

    Note: To give the meatloaf color, spread ketchup over the top immediately after cooking. This also helps to keep the meatloaf moist while waiting to be served.
