Meatloaf

CACFP: 1 serving = 1 meat
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • Ground Beef - 13 ounces
  • Tomato Sauce - 1/2 cup
  • Oats - 1/3 cup
  • Eggs, medium, beaten - 1
  • Onion, chopped - 1 Tablespoon
  • Spice Mix - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

    Directions:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together.
  • 2. Using wet hands, press meat mixture evently into loaf pan.
  • 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • 4. Cut into 6 equal portions.

    Note: To give the meatloaf color, spread ketchup over the top immediately after cooking. This also helps to keep the meatloaf moist while waiting to be served.
