Rice Cakes with Cheese
CACFP: 1 = ½ bread


Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Rice Cakes, whole-grain 6 20
American Cheese, 1 ounce slices 3 10



  • 1. Cut slices of cheese in half. Cutting a whole stack of cheese at once will speed this process.
  • 2. Place one-half slice of cheese on each rice cake.
  • 3. Place under broiler until cheese is melted, 1 minute or less.
  • 4. Serve one rice cake per child.
