Steamed Broccoli
CACFP: 1/4 cup = 1/2 fruit/vegetable
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
Broccoli, fresh - 1 1/2 cups
Directions:
1. Cut fresh broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Include the stems and a few broccoli leaves for extra iron.
2. Steam broccoli until bright green and fork tender. If you plan to keep broccoli warm for later serving, slightly undercook.
3. Keep warm in 200 degree oven until ready to serve.
