Baked Apples
CACFP: 1 hermit = 1 bread

Margarine |

Sliced Apples, canned |
2-20 ounce cans |
1-#10 can |
Sugar |
1/4 cup |
1/2 cup |
Cinnamon |
1 teaspoons |
1 Tablespoon |
- 1. Use pan(s) with 1" sides. Grease pan(s) with margarine.
- 2. Put apples and liquid in pans.
- 3. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. (Omit sugar if canned apples are packed with sugar or corn syrup.)
- 4. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Note: You might want to substitute fresh apples, especially if you are cooking a smaller quantity. Refer to the following chart and directions if you are using fresh apples.

- 1. Wash and slice apples 1/4" thick, removing core and seeds.
- 2. Follow above procedure. Add water before placing apples into pan.
