Bueno Bean Soup
CACFP: 3/4 cup = 1/2 meat; 1/2 fruit/vegetable

Stewed Tomatoes |
1-14&1/2 ounce can |
3&1/2-14&1/2 ounce cans |
Water or Chicken Broth |
1&1/2 cups |
5 cups |
Chicken Bouillon, cubes or granules |
1 cube |
3 cubes |
Refried Beans |
16 ounce can |
3&1/2-16 ounce cans |
- 1. Puree stewed tomatoes in blender or food processor.
- 2. Combine tomatoes, water or broth and chicken bouillon in pan.
- 3. Simmer until bouillon is dissolved.
- 4. Add refried beans.
- 5. Stir well and heat through.
