Meatloaf
CACFP: 1 serving = 1 meat


 
Ingredients 6 servings 20 servings
Ground Beef 13 ounces 3 pounds
Tomato Sauce 1/2 cup 1&1/2 cups
Oats 1/3 cup 1 cup
Eggs, medium, beaten 1 3
Onion, chopped 1 Tablespoon 1/2
Spice Mix 1/2 teaspoon 2 teaspoons
Salt  1/2 teaspoon  2 teaspoons
Ketchup (optional)    

 
  • 1. Mix all ingredients together.
  • 2. Using wet hands, press meat mixture evenly into loaf pan(s).
  • 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • 4. Cut into portions equal to number of servings.
  • Note: To give the meatloaf color, spread ketchup over the top immediately after cooking. This also helps to keep the meatloaf moist while waiting to be served.
