Oatmeal with Raisins
CACFP: 1/3 cup = 1 bread

2&1/2 cups |
Water |
1&1/3 cup |
5 cups |
Oats, old-fashioned |
2/3 cup |
2&3/4 cups |
Margarine |
1 Tablespoon |
3 Tablespoons |
Milk |

- 1. Soak raisins in water overnight.
- 2. Drain raisins, reserve water and measure. Add tap water to equal recipe amount.
- 3. Put raisin water and oats in saucepan.
- 4. Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- 5. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Remove from heat and add soaked raisins.
- 7. Add margarine and enough milk to thin oatmeal.
