Rice Cakes with Cheese
CACFP: 1 rice cake = 1/2 bread

Rice Cakes, whole-grain |

American Cheese, 1 ounce slices |

- 1. Cut slices of cheese in half.
- 2. Place one-half slice of cheese on each rice cake.
- 3. Place under broiler until cheese is melted, 1 minute or less.
- 4. Serve one rice cake per child.
- Note: Rice cakes are optional in this menu, but if you decide to serve them, combine with cheese to make as tasty snack.
